DNV upstream industry services in China have been focussed on certification/ verification of offshore and onshore oil & gas installations and associated technical advisory services during field development and production. The main terms of reference are national statutory requirements and agreed international standards. Specifically our Rules/Standard for Submarine Pipeline Systems has been selected by China Offshore Oil Operation Safety Office (COOOSO) as the certification reference on submarine pipeline design, fabrication, installation, operation and maintenance. DNV Rules for Classification of Offshore Installations have been frequently used to substantiate the established requirements wherever applicable. Upon completion of successful DNV involvement, certificate of compliance will be issued.
DNV downstream service areas include refining and petrochemical industry of oil & gas, power plant and pipeline network. DNV use Risk Management methodology to assist the clients on reducing operational cost and optimize the safe and economic performance of enterprise.
